Hi, I'm Maria 

I am the founder and owner of Midnight Rose LLC. I am a single mother, entrepreneur, equine trainer/educator, massage therapist, content creator, and lover of everything health and wellness. I am of Samoan and Chinese descent but am originally from Auckland New Zealand. I spent most of my adolescence in Seattle Washington where I started training with horses at 17 years old. I spent a year in New Zealand at Massey university before pursuing a career in horse training, attending Kyrewood Equestrian Centre and obtaining a NZQA Level 2 Sport Horse Stable Practice Certification. After schooling abroad, I opened up my first farm in Tenino Washington (2010) centered around retraining ex-racehorses, rehabilitation of problem horses, and starting horses. She was fortunate to be coached for multiple years by amazing trainers such as FEI 4* Judge Kari McClain, and FEI trainer and competitor Jessica Wisdom. In 2020 I attended the Equine School of Natural Movement and gained certification in Equine Structural Integration which was how I was initiated into the healing arts.

In 2021 I purchased a 19 acre farm to develop the perfect horse and healing retreat center. She graduated from the Forida school of massage and is a successful Licensed Massage Therapist. I am constantly continuing my education and have been working diligently to become the first Samoan equestrian rider to compete on the international level.

I'm Ruffles  

I represent Midnight Rose LLC as a Good Boy. I prefer socks and undergarments over toys, and I've been told I run like a prancing deer. My favorite hobbies include but are not limited to collecting bones from nearby farms, digging holes in my driveway and getting belly rubs. 

BTW: I was rescued abandoned next to a dead deer in North Carolina
